Looks like your scored some great material,to last you awhile...... I have a 6" "all in one" type flat lap still in the box. Currently I don't have the room to set up some of the tools I have but I'm eager to learn how to polish and shape so I need lots of practice material. My wife will want to use it for the lawn I'm sure.

The owner is kind enough to let the clubs dig and even pulls out boulders for us. Rockbridge county has lots of old mines etc. Next trip is to Augusta county which is right next door.

Is the material fractured or pretty solid? Looks like you have a few nice sized chunks there that could be made into spheres. You may have @shotgunner knocking on your door!

You may have @shotgunner knocking on your door! it's solid, I cut some smaller pieces with my 7 inch tile saw, aside for the occasional cracks there wasn't any crumbling etc. Most of what I cut, I cut slots into it then inserted a chisel to break it down smaller.
