Yeah , had to go check out a gravel pit again . GF is into rocks too so I can't catch a break . Thought I would show you a few from todays haul . A little group shot , This one is surely heading to the saw , Gf also found a wigwam stake ( they didn't use teepees up here ) , or maybe a cavemans tent stake , once again , thanks for looking .

Rich, those are sweet. With the broken up & healed banding would this one be considered brecciated? Way cool.

Do you sell slabs of any of these reds? So far , no . I'm not fully set up to do a lot of cutting yet , still in the works . Just dabbling with cutting at this point for our uses . I will keep you in mind when I can get a little ahead . Time to weed out some of the hoard anyway .

I love the banding on the big one. I can't wait to see the slabs you get out of these guys.

It seems to vary a little in different rocks on how it polishes in the tumbler . I haven't tried it on wheels yet . In the tumbler , some of the black undercuts a bit and some will come out shiny as silver .

I have cabbed this material before and it cabbed well. A lot like tiger iron. Thanks for keeping me in mind. I love red stones and red and black is even better.

At least that is what I have been told it is . The type with all the red dots , some of it has hematite dots as well . A friend has done some and it comes out pretty sharp looking .

The stake may be of vampire beginnings. Those are some trophies. Received some of the dotted stuff from snowmom. Like them Great Lake Rocks.
