I'm glad to finally come on board and be part of this great community!
I've always had an interest in rock tumbling all the way back to my Lortone 1.5E when I was kid!
My kids are now showing interest in rocks, so we have had some great family trips to Lake Michigan and Superior collecting some treasure!
I currently have a Lortone 1.5E, Lortone 33B and a Lot-O Tumbler.

from Tennessee! You have certainly found your home! Coming to us with two tumblers and a vibe! Kids (4 of 'em) got me into serious collecting then into the equipment, now they're grown or almost grown and could care less and I am fully hooked. Well, let me say the girls like jewelry, so they do care. Just not keen to go collect with me. And my son is 17, so unless he can show off by carrying something heavy, or smashing a big boulder into little ones for me, he would rather be sleeping and eating (usually in that order).

Welcome from KY. Rock hounding with the kids is good clean fun. Or dirty fun, which my kids prefer. When you figure out posting pics, we want to see your treasure.

welcome from Colorado, great to have have you, it's always nice when you include the kids. to this day when my son comes home from school in the summer he enjoys a trip out, my 17 year old just asked if I could teach him cabbing,I told him I'm still learning also and he could learn with me. I throw a couple handfuls of rocks in the landscape in front of the house because my girl's like to play rockhounding, they come in and say Dad look what we found with their little hands full.4,7,9, they came to live with us when the baby was just 3 weeks old,the past four years have been a blessing to me and my wife.
