I have two now and would like to organize my basement. Would running two lortone 33b's off of a power strip be ok?

Yes it would be fine , the small lortones don't draw much juice .

Run it a few hours then grab the power strip Cord see if it is hot Walt In my experience, it is not the cords that are the issue. It's the connections at all of the sockets that cause heat degredation. I've seen plenty of power strips that are discolored by heat near the sockets. The cords are not the promlem. Dave

I have Lortone QT66 and 3B tumblers, together they pull a total of 77 watts. Theoretically you could run 31 times that amount of power on a regular 2400 watt household outlet provided the powerstrip was using 12ga wire to the plug.

I use them so I can switch the tumblers off easy.

A lot depends on the capabilities of the circuit and power draw. How many amps is it? Identify what other items are on the same circuit. Also suggest a fused power strip.
Yes, check for warmth.

I am fairly sure that all powerstrips have a builtin circuit breaker for overload protection

Check out my 13 August post here: Not burning the house down
I've got 3 tumblers, two LED strip lights and two muffin fans running of that power strip, That's been going for months, no issues at all.

I run mine on a power strip, and I go one further. I bought some plug switches so that I can just toggle my tumblers on/off instead of unplugging them. They're about $3 each on Amazon.
