If not for RTH I would have just followed the booklet that came with my 3A, thanks for all expert advise. Theses are Brianhead Agate that we collected, not the entire batch. My total time was a little over 9 weeks, Patience, Win, Patience! Now I'm going to expand my equipment, at least one more tumbler and probably a vibe. And the addiction begins. Welcome. Can I send you a box of local rocks? Gather no moss, Colin

Congratulations on getting that first batch through. That takes some serious resolve with the limited tumbling capacity in the 3 lb. barrel. Love the material you're working with and the presentation of your tumbles, also. Thanks for sharing with us. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done!!!

Yep Win . The entry drug has been taken. Next step a 15 pound thumbler rotary and a twin lot or. A big ole Viking industrial, like some folks have would be awesome for really big material. Would love one of those. Now eyes open for tumbler buying opportunities. Good job and I always like your nature photography.

Those look great. Nice piece of wood that you have them displayed on too.

Nice first batch! 3lb Lortone, that's how my addiction started! Great offer from napoleonrags! Very generous community here! Looking forward to the next batch!

Thanks for the nice comments, this really is fun. I started a batch of Obsidian but will hold off finishing it for a bit. My next batch is PW, only in it's first week.
Colin, thanks for the offer, I sent you a PM.

Great first batch. I would say this the appropriate place to post. The photos section is mostly for photos not related to rocks.

My total time was a little over 9 weeks, Patience, Win, Patience! Now I'm going to expand my equipment, at least one more tumbler and probably a vibe. Get another few tumblers. I don't regret the 2nd TT 15pound rotary and I SURE don't regret the MB vibe I got. Hubby was even nice about it when my vibe showed up, tumbler I mean, lol. I have my first run polishing as as I type in my vibe, soooo much faster. Shape'em in the rotary and transfer to the vibe.
