I'm sure your table works great. I just went through the learning curve and found a small program on the web called rpm pulley calculator. Its a matter of filling in three boxes and it will complete the fourth. Drive pulley size, drive rpm, driven pulley size, driven rpm. Believe it or not once I installed it, I've used it several times. Thanks for offering up your help for those that are still in the rpm deliberations. Teamed with the MK table for desired speeds for their saw blades we as lapidarys are getting technical. Cheers.

Glens table does a lot more than RPM calculations. Drive belt lengths, surface speed of your wheel or saw blade too.

I couldn't even find what is apparently the right help file, think I'll stick with longhand.

I underestimated the scope of the product. Many people ignore the difference in surface speed for 6" vs 8", etc.

I should also mention that this file is protected, but not with a password. If you want to make any modifications, you can go to the "REVIEW" tab and select "UNPROTECT" . I protect it because, it's real easy to mess up the formulas. The belt length formula is a bit complex and ANY change to it can cause problems with it.
But if you see a better way to get good results by all means feel free to fix it. Let me know what you do so I can fix mine too.
Thanks Glen

OOPS! I made a mistake! The file I attached was an old version that had an error in the Belt formula. I edited the top post and changed out the old file for a correct one.
Sorry everyone, I guess I'm getting grey hair between my ears.
