coloradocliff thanks for posting. I was thinking about going to that show now I wish I did. I will try next year. Andrea It was well worth it sis. Big show and good time of year. If you decide to go a lot of Colorado people there and would look out for you. Diane drocknut will probably come north as well, She lived in Colorado for a while. Be a good break for you girls from that heat down there. Need to take some pictures of the material or at least some of the material I got to post a thread. Also took a lot of pictures while driving over to it and ack from it. I live on the Western Slope, you know , the really pretty part. grin.. .. Yeah I know its dangerous.. grin and will post a thread on that. Colorado is an interesting place to drive. Dramatic scenery and if you like geology its fantasy land.

The booth selling the Mad River agates was the people who own the Laguna agate mine in Mexico. Here is their website and where they will set up at the Tucson for Mad River and their own mined products. Great prices in Denver, expect the same in Tucson, gé there early and high grade!! www.lagunalace.com/shows.php

I told yah Sis. Should have listened to a y chromosome defective. hehehehe [/p] Its open tomorrow and we all know your truck flies. They will be begging people to take some of that weight tomorrow. Picked up 55 kilos of the citrine on white quartz ( Did someone fart or is Uncle Fester still stalking and making mean comments even after I blocked his insanity?)
Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted and a neat chunk of titanium rainbow quartz Attachment DeletedAnd 450-500 pounds of rough and stuff. Will post some when I get time. A couple big buckets of prime Mad River agates. High graded from 5000 pounds.. smile.. Gonna wet grind it to rough and toss it in a 40 lb vibe to polish it when I get time..
[/quote] Yeah you told me but I didn't hear anything about the trip being your treat so guess it went in one ear and out the other....haha. Hate to tell you but that citrine looks like the stuff they heat treat to make it more colorful. I'm not an expert but I was told that citrine is usually lighter colored and the stuff that is dark yellow/orange is treated. It's pretty though either way. Never heard of Mad River agate but then again there's a lot of rocks I've never heard of before.

YEP Wondered if it was heat treated too but was there for the color and pretty. Makes great gifts and Christmas is acoming. Uncle Fester must have made a mean comment because a lot of my friends commented that he said I use photoshop. Not smart enough to do that but the darn new camera is set wrong somehow and not patient enough to sit and grind thru the instructions. Not manly to read instructions nor ask directions you know grin.. GPS sure does save a lot of embarrassment though.. Yep was my treat.. Pick out any corn dog you want. hehehehe I'll just have to catch you all up down in Quartzite when I pick up Gypsy..

Am I missing something? Did I oversleep? I see them being in tucson for the show in 2014? Maybe they have the same exact place each year, and if that is so, then I can figure it all out. Otherwise I'll need some coaching as to how I managed to get all the way into 2017 without knowing it.

Apparently many business don't change their web pages much as to updating the dates. Good that you are an eagle eye and see and comment on important things. If I see any updates I will post the new exact dates.
.how I managed to get all the way into 2017 without knowing it. Might be those new sleep aids. They upped my meds and now my bourbon is about 150 proof. Great for killing ants too... grin.
