A couple upgrades to my little shop I'm putting together. Picked up a nice bench grinder from a guy i traded with this summer. I was looking for a bench grinder and by chance he called me (it has been at least 4 months since i heard from him) so he says i have a bench grinder are you interested? I say sure if it includes some rocks like our last deal. So i go over to his house and he shows me this. A RedWing 26A dental quality bench grinder thought it would make an awesome silver polisher. It has 2 speeds 1725rpm/3450rpm. What do you guys and gals think would it make a good polisher? This cool feature lets you change out bits or wheels with out turning off the machine. Need to figure out hoe to attach a 6" or 8" wheel to this side.any thoughts? Finally cleaned this up i picked this up at an estate sale. It had years of dust on it came with the paper work an extra cable and a bunch of burs for wood.looks almost new. Her is the tub it came in and the price tag they where asking for it. Almost hate to show it but this is my kind of deal! I do have to make a wrench for it that was not in this tub. This sure beats what i was using.

Looks like great equipment. My nephew is the only one in my family who steps into great deals. Things just seem to fall into his lap. Sure is helpful.

Well Tela i have to confess i have another hobby i am practically a professional picker. I hound yard sales garage sales estate sales , thrift stores farm auctions. And properties. It is amazing what you can find and flip for big bucks. It really blows my mind. And it's lots of fun.

That's what i step back and tell myself sometimes. I usually buy in bulk and get good discounts. So it's always cheaper in the end.
