Reading that patent made the "PREFERRED EMBODIMENT" between my ears vibrate like crazy. Running the Mini Sonic in my living space for several months was really getting on my nerves. More pictures of Australian Agates would help me resonate. amygdule I am curious... Your comment regarding running the mini-sonic in your living space getting on your nerves... How close is the mini-sonic to you during a normal day/night? I know it is supposed to be a relatively quiet machine, but certain (maybe even subliminal) vibrations could adversely affect biological functions (nerves???). (I have seen news reports of police using sonics in crowd control, but I do not know what frequencies affect what human functions... but nerves on edge at 3600 vibs/min at 60 Hz???) Glenn

Got hunters over. Wife out town. Going out in the woods shortly. All up early this AM. That "hunter" back by the truck sure has some nice skinny jeans on. And heels on the foot wear? Fashionable hunters up there. I'd be up early too! Posted pic to ask why fire pit bowl on ground has the cut out of it. - curious

Hole cut out for a gutter catchment. Lady wanted a bunch of them. Is going to attach rain chains to it. The cut out is the water overflow.

I have seen the chimes on the downspouts, they are pretty cool. Not too much use for them here, since we never get any rain (kidding).

Glenn The steady drone of the vibe was annoying. Do people understand the sound of silence anymore?

No trouble, just the clean up ladies lol. This client is in California. Never sold rain catchers on the east coast Jean. She said she hired a blacksmith to make the rain chains. Wow, someone has some money.

The real challenge with bees wasn't figuring out the aerodynamics but the mechanics: specifically, how bees can move their wings so fast — roughly 200 beats per second, which is 10 or 20 times the firing rate of the nervous system. The trick apparently is that the bee's wing muscles (thorax muscles, actually) don't expand and contract so much as vibrate, like a rubber band. A nerve impulse comes along and twangs the muscle, much as you might pluck a guitar string, and it vibrates the wing up and down a few times until the next impulse comes along. Single muscle impulse = series of vibrations The natural frequency is the rate at which an object vibrates when it is not disturbed by an outside force. ?$#%

jamesp, I'd like to see you make a vibrating bowl out of a fire pit. You would be surprised out how that may work since they make a great bell that rings for a long time. Bop it with a hammer and get 100 vibes out of it. But LOUD When grinding the lip with a 10,000 RPM grinder they start to vibrate so violently that if you touch you knee cap to it it feels like a hammer hit you.

Can you make a bowl that attaches to the engine so you can tumble rocks while driving cross country ?
