Not sure to this day if artistic or autistic. I've known autistic people who were extremely artistic. Maybe the two go hand in hand? I would guess that many genius types are full of autism. In some cases the shrink may label them autistic but in reality they are healthy-fully focused...

...but in reality they are healthy-fully focused... My oldest grandson is semi-functionally autistic. One of his problems is that once he gets interested in something, he can't focus on anything else. It fully consumes his life.

Depending on what he is interested in, maybe a good thing. To a point. I wish I could focus, but I am quite the opposite. I have so many sticks in the fire, I find that I jump around from project to project, without ever finishing most of them. I ameasily distracted, and lose interest. Classic ADD. We are all different, and play the hands we are dealt.

My Dad fits 12 of 12 characteristics of Asperger's. He is a totally difficult man. Serious achiever. I think I learned from his mistakes but have the ability to focus mild case of it in healthy directions as rockpickerforever mentions. Some people have crippling cases, it can be serious. Sorry to hear about your Grandson. Focused on grinding this red rock if I can get past other duties.

That is what happened to the first one I had. I made a 3 piece shield for the second one I bought to make it much harder for the water to enter..........................MrP

I don't think I ever took it in the house. I tiled and chunked it in the boneyard outside all those years. Talk about a cat with 9 lives. Even worse running it on it's side. I should baby it, had a hard life.

This is the remains of the yellow/green MsAli. That section was porous and soft. I left it because it ran deep into the stone.

Maybe renting the apartment next door ? Renting a storage unit would be cheaper. Fill it full of tumblers! We could hook them up to treadmills at the local gym and the exercise folks could rotate them energy free.
