It is amazing how desperate some people are for attention, isn't it?

It is amazing how desperate some people are for attention, isn't it? +1! I'm guessing they believe earth is a flat disk. "North pole is the center and Antarctica is the outside edge. That is why all countries have outposts there". So how thick is this disk? What's on the reverse side of the disk?

LOL, flat earthers are stooppid!!!
Everyone knows the earth is round and hollow inside. The entrance to the inner earth is at the north pole. Google edits out all of the images of it. It's where the lost tribes of Israel live, monitoring us with their advanced technology. DUHHHHH.

With an edge that has a wall of ice. With sunlight coming into the surface thru a spotlight leaving dark and light areas. Gravity doesn't exist. Gravity is instead constant acceleration equal to what we call gravity. Forever! Mars has been observed to be round. The moon too. But lunar pics back to earth that could make the same observation are faked. As was the entire Apollo program. I'm fascinated by their perspective. Bizarre indeed.

That dude is what drew my attention to the FES.
ETA What I don't understand is why this dumbass doesn't do what hundreds (perhaps thousands) of amateurs have done. Launch a weather balloon with an automated camera in tow.
Wait, I figured it out. It would disprove his theory.ha!

Some of them believe this because of the Bible. Some believe the Bible literally. Flat Earth, Garden of Eden, Noah and the Arc, and 6,000 year old Earth. Vic

Back in the 80's-early 90's I was a member of the Church of the Subgenius. It was actually great fun and tongue in cheek. Not for everyone, but I liked it. I think of flat earthers the same way. I think they exist just to troll people. I do not believe that a single person among them believes that the earth is flat.

I am a member in good standing in the Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster. In fact I'm legally ordained as "Brother Rotini, the screwy one". Someday I'll officiate a pirate wedding. His noodly goodness, mmmmmm.

I love how people think they can actually win an argument against internet trolls... DON'T FEED THE TROLLS Also...the fact that they agree that Mars is a sphere but we're on a flat disc

DON'T FEED THE TROLLS Also...the fact that they agree that Mars is a sphere but we're on a flat disc For me it's a novelty. I'd love to have a quiet discussion with them. It seems that nobody as asked them for the thickness of the disk they call earth. Or, what is on that other side. Could be a reverse parallel universe complete with anti-earth disk that has its own atmos-plane. Except the acceleration theory would make it impossible to stay on the anti surface.... Is the sun following us? What about the planets, are they following too?

If the earth was flat, cats would have pushed everything off it by now.

The earth has to be flat. If you skip a rock on a pond with a round earth, it would skip once then fly off into space due to the curvature of the planet. Skip a rock on our flat planet, and if well thrown, it will keep on skipping for several cycles.
