I recently moved into a new house and found a boxed up gem tumbler. The only information I can find on it is that it is a Star Diamond Industries T3 model. Does anyone know if this is worth anything? I think it's pretty cool, just not something I would use.
Thanks!

Barranca Diamond took over Star Diamond a few years ago. Suspect the T3 designation may indicate that it is a 3 lb. model. Barranca currently only seems to offer a 6 lb. model, that has a conical/hexagonal barrel on a tilted axis. Afraid that is as much info as I could find on the web in a quick search. Can you post a photo?

I see a Star Diamond T3 listed on EBay for $99.00. If yours is in good to excellent condition, then it may be worth that much. Star Diamond tumblers use a set of plastic gears rather than a belt, and I'm not sure of the availability of parts.

The SD t3 was the star diamond swan song before being purchased. It looks good but It is a Plastic gear machine Like the later sears. There are no parts especially the Plastic gears to be found Shapeways a 3D printer on the web has Gears. . . I purchased 2 relacement and work fine .But the Overload of Rock. will ruin the plastic grers. Sal
