So I've tumbled over 120 pounds of this stuff. Always fun to see what the rough turns out like. Of that 120 pounds I have these and a couple pounds of favorites. Sold my last batch before I could even take pics. Seems like "everybody" likes this rock. 1. Random pile of smalls. 1/2 to 3/4 inch IMG_3866 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 2. Largest of the batch, 2 & 1/4 to 2 & 1/2 at the widest point. IMG_3846 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 3. Some nice ones here. IMG_3848 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 4. Notice the vugs ... very easy to clean with the psyllium I use to thicken my vibe slurry. IMG_3851 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 5. More nice ones. IMG_3855 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 6. What can I say? IMG_3862 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 7. These get added to my faves. IMG_3871 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 8.More faves. IMG_3877 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr 9. Last of the faves. IMG_3883 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr Thanks for looking and keep on rollin' them stones.

Winning thread of the week! Any place special you like to get your rough? I'd like to know the answer to that as well. I got some from Kinsley, but not much color variety in them like these

Winning thread of the week! Any place special you like to get your rough? I have always bought Crazy Lace from Kingsley North. I like the price break you get for larger quantities and the rough is generally good.

I always order 20 pounds or more at a time ... rough I bought the time before had less color ... luck of the draw?

Could be-I am going to try some from the Rock Shed as well to see if they have a little more variety

I just ordered a LFRB of it. Unknown final weight till he fills the box, guessing 35 to 40 pounds. It drops from $5/pound to $3/pound above 25 pounds. He had 326 pounds left. Another shipment on way from same supplier. Hope to get those spectacular colors. Lest you got the best.
Thanks for the tip Ken. The first rock I ever tumbled when I was 13 years old. Looking forward to blast from past.

So cool! So far I've only done self-collected material...but this makes me want to order some rough.
