I am so sick of their stuff breaking and their refusal to return emails.
Anyone else getting this?

I have an AR2. I also have a Lortone 33b. The Lortone is great. The Thumlers goes through lids like crazy and leaks often. I don’t like it at all. Lortone has been great about answering calls or emails. I haven’t tried to contact Thumlers.

What do you have that is breaking?
I have all Thumler's tumblers (maybe 15 of them?) and have never had any problems. - other than going through a lot of belts on the Model B units from running loads too heavy. I use the 12 and 15 pound models, can't comment on the 3 pound machines.

In the past year I have had two ultravibe 18 that have broken their parts. the motor mounts snap off and they refuse to answer emails.

Try using the phone. When I was a dealer I always called and they always answered. Usually Al Thumler the owner. In fact I called him not long ago to ask about a motor and he answered. Some people are waiting to see if e-mail is going to catch on or not before they get involved. I sold mostly their rotaries but my customers were pretty happy with their equipment.

I use Lortone and Covington. Always great service if I have a problem. They rarely breakdown.

I've called them [Thumler's] a few times too, got good friendly service from them.

I use Lortone and Covington. Always great service if I have a problem. They rarely breakdown. I also prefer Covington. To me, they represent the best all-around rotary. I did have one issue recently, with a 1/2 gallon barrel that developed a leak, which I am not sure is repairable. Everything else on that machine still functions like new, right down to the belt. I will be getting another Covington barrel, simply because the chassis is designed to last forever. I have recently acquired a Thumlers Model B, but have some doubts over its longevity. I suppose it's cheap enough to be easily replaceable, so I'm not so much bothered by that. Anything is better than the junk you get from the likes of Harbor Freight.

I have called many times, not because of a problem, and always reached someone. We have 2 UV10 tumblers, never a problem.
