Very new to this, so is this a commonly used tool? For slabs?
Should I be getting some sort of coolant system for it?

I have never used anything like this. is it setup with sand paper for grinding? or does it have polishing pads on it. yes oil the motor and the braring have grease fittings.

and keep clothing and fingers clear of unguarded belt. Better to fabricate a guard.
