Rough from The Gem Shop. I picked from the barrel myself for size and obvious features. Not sure what you'd get by ordering online...I passed on a lot of "uber-smalls". Definitely getting more when I go back in the spring. In no particular order... #1 There were some cut pieces in their mix. IMG_4174 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr #2 The eyes have it. IMG_4189 by Ken Vancil, on Flickr #6 Nice ones! About the size of a golf ball this is the "A"side. The eyes on the "b" side were soft and undercut leaving empty sockets. Great looking stuff. That 2nd photo is killer. Chuck That was the one I held up for my wife to see. Awesome batch. Last time you posted pictures, it cost me $100 for some crazy lace.

Much better to never look at Ken's posts. Cheaper, too. January 13 should find me digging through their ocean Jasper bin. As always, well done.

Super hard to get material. Another spectacular batch(comparing to that crazy lace). I sure would like to pick thru that crazy lace in person, fine material.

I keep looking at this and saying to myself a trip to The Gem Shop is on my agenda for summer. Go early in the day. That whole section of Cedarburg is full of shops of all kinds. Jewelry, resale, antique, crafts, chocolate/candy and more. Lots to look at. Many people come to visit on the weekends, first time we went we thought something special was happening. Nope, just a normal weekend.

Nope, just a normal weekend. Great, if there are lots of shops, I will "kidnap" my friend who lives in Cedarburg and drag her along. A girls day out, which she badly needs. Might be doing this in spring, when the chance oif snow/ice is gone.

I've tumbled it before. It might be a while before I even start any of the new stuff I got. I have a large backlog of rocks. I'm resisting the urge to start more tumblers.
