This is a real shot in the dark... I have written an article on heirloom flower and vegetable varities that a local paper wants to publish soon. Trouble is, they want pictures and I don't have any good veggie ones that fit the story! I have sent inquiries to a couple catalogs requesting permission and nobody has gotten back to me. Anybody here grow antique veggies and got decent pics to prove it? I'd need them e-mailed to me. You'd get credit, (and gratitude) of course!

Oh boy... do you know the varieties? I would LOVE to have a good pic of White Wonder tomatoes but I doubt he'll have that!
I have to go now, I'll catch up on this later tonight if my internet comes in, or tomorrow morning if it doesn't.

I could try the White Wonder plants and see what the editor says, but I don't think she'll be too keen. What about weird radishes--China Rose or Black Spanish? Jacob's Cattle beans? Old Spice sweat pea?

I'll go thru and see. Most of the garden wasn't ready. Transplanting from greenhouse to garden.

It's 16 degrees F here and wind blowing 20 mph. Windchill below zero. I can't imagine putting a garden in right now. At least it's sunny here.

My parents are in Minnesota I went back in June and I love the garden, so took a lot of pics. When I was home, I helped him move the veggies from the greenhouse to the Garden.

This is an heirloom tomato that I grew last summer called Mortgage Lifter. You're welcome to the image if you like.

ooh, that's a great picture! Technically outside the scope of the article, because it's from the 1930s,(too new) but I can probably use it since the time-frame was self-imposed and not the request of the editor. Love that pic. I'll pm you my email -- can you send it to me?
