I *think* I found this rock near Alamosa Colorado .... again, I think so... I mean I am 95% sure it was found in Colorado I just cant be sure about the area. It was in a tub of random rocks I found in the basement. (normal in my house) anyway, now I have a saw I cut it open to see what it looked like and I just love the silver, gray and white speckles! I'm going to make cabs I think, I just dont know what to call it Thanks!! Attachments:

DogStar it looks like a quartzite but it is hard to tell from pics. It is a texture thing. Is the lower part of the first image metalic inclusions? if so are they silvery like arsenopyrite?

DogStar it looks like a quartzite but it is hard to tell from pics. It is a texture thing. Is the lower part of the first image metalic inclusions? if so are they silvery like arsenopyrite? 2 for Quartzite, looks like some stuff I have found around Paradox and Naturita!
