Hi all... introducing myself. I've just discovered (two or three months ago) that those wonderfully polished stones can be obtained at home. I wanted to do this since I was young, but I didn't know how. Since I'm a practical guy, I started immediately to collect docs and everything about this hobby; and eventually I found this REALLY interesting forum, where I'm learning a lot. After eating pages and pages of tutorials & video stuff, here and around in Internet, I decided to purchase my tumbler and some rock tumbler grits. Now I'm almost ready to start - I just need the stones. I'm planning a river trip one of these days, when I'm free from work... And, this done, who will stop me? LOL Bye! PS - forgive my faulty english pls

Welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing what kind of rocks you find. P.S. - If English isn't your first language, I sure wouldn't know. Actually, you could give some lessons here.

Welcome from Michigan. I didn’t notice that you were not a native speaker either.
You’re going to love it here. I look forward to seeing what you find in the Italian rivers.

Hello! Welcome from Virginia! Your English is very good! Hope to see some of your rocks. Ahem! Me too I can't wait to see them But, first of all, I have to find some interesting stones. Then get rid of all the chaos in my garage. Then set up a small place to work. Then put my tumbler at work! And I'll make it sweat, be sure
