I lied. There isn't a kitchen sink. There is a random mix of what I have been playing with the last few months.
I goofed around with some macro intarsia trying to get a feel for it again before jumping into more serious intarsia like melhill1659 ,rockjunquie ,adrian65 , and others. I played with it a few years ago but side tracked into spheres. I have no idea how those two things are connected...
Blue Ice and Tiger Iron
Blue Ice and Tiger Iron
Tiger's Eye and Blue Tiger's Eye
Tiger's Eye and Luna Agate
Tri-color Tiger's Eye and Rutile Quartz
I am still making plugs. This is a pair of nice gembone that were a custom order. They came out nice and the customer was pleased with them.
Gembone Plugs
I cut back on spheres a bit but have made a few since I last posted.
Nice druse filled Flame Agate
Shadow Agate, I think a Brazilian. Has a few surface fractures on one side but it is still a nice specimen.
Gold Ocean Jasper that I thought was a Poppy Jasper
Petrified Palm. I always like how this looks in a sphere.
Shadow Laguna Agate.
I love this Montana Agate.
Neat Blue Lace Agate Sphere. It is a seam agate and this one was between two smokey quartz veins.
I have cut and polished some display peices. Might have posted one of the Aragonites prevoiusly..
Indonesian Petrified Opal Wood with Copper Inclusions

Besides messing with intarsia; I have been cutting a few plain cabs as well.
Not my best cut, but a nice peice of Petrified Chrysocolla Wood with fortification.
Neat Carnelian Tube Agate
Brazilian Agate with green moss.
Biggs / Deshutes Jasper.
Nice Peacock Obsidian. There is a dull spot on it in this video that I buffed out.
Sort of an ovoid Mexican Fire Agate. Probably should have gone deeper for more flash..I may revist this one..
Sonora Sunset / Crimson Cuprite. Always fun.
My birthstone, Aquamarine. Still one of my favorite colors.
I picked up a few large peices of the indonesian Petrified Opal Wood which I have been messing with. It is fractious but I am hoping for a few 50-80mm spheres. I have been cabbing some of the trim pieces. There is a remarkable variety of color and patterns with it.
Indonesian Opal Wood
Indonesian Opal Wood
Indonesian Opal Wood. This piece has a lot of pits and rotten spots but I really wanted the dendrite lol
Cherry Creek Jasper Kite
Blue and Gold Tiger's Eye
Nice little Mohawkite
Nice bigger Mohawkite..
Almost transparent Luna Agate
Gembone for Fossilman
Purple Chalcedony from Turkey
Pretty sweet Quartz with Rutile
And; I just realized how much I posted and how late it is. I hope everyone is doing well,
Roger
