Nice stones. I like the third one the best. The contrast will make a beautiful cab.

Looks like some jaspers, quartz and cherts. Hard to tell what they are from the pics. I would for sure do the one with fortification. When I bring things home from the pit and wonder if they have potential I polish a little window on them. That way I know if I like it and if I should pick up more of it. Most of the staining might just be skin deep. The lone one by the flower pot is almost looking granite like.

First one hard to say. Looks like it may have some orthoclase and manganese in it. The base rock looks like quartz.
The second one looks like it has some agate. The black material could be a few things including limestone, ilmenite, etc.
Third looks like an agate.
Fourth looks like chalcedony.
Fifth (or first in second post) looks like jasper and agate mixed.
Sixth is quartz.
And the 7th looks like agate.

After looking on my computer instead of phone, I think the 6 th and 7 th looks like a granite with quartz especially the 6th The second looks like what I find and call a black agate but most likely a jasper as it forms in seams and can be masssive. Haven't seen much with fortification. 3rd 4th and 6th quartz of some sort, if found up here probably just surfaced stained. Mostly fine grained and should take a polish. When I go hunting a new pit I pick lots of things to window. That way I know what polishes and if it looks good.

The first is hard to say without seeing a fresh surface, or holding it. I have to agree with toiv0 that the 5th is a stained quartz; the 6th is a granite that had a secondary pulse of of silica leading to a quartz vein; the 7th looks to me to be a chunk of coarse-grained granite - approaching pegmatite- with mainly feldspar and some quartz.

That top image on the new batch looks almost like a slag material (based on color and texture). The first Image has a sugary texture but if it is too light then I will defer to you. Have you tried to saw it or polish a corner on a wheel?

Its lighter than I would expect for its size Texture is odd, but not sugary I'll take a saw to it one day
