The first one looks like they could be garnets.
The green in the next three look possibly like amazonite.
The copper ore in 10 looks like malachite. The matrix is most likely dolomite.
The magnetic stone would be magnetite with minor amounts of other iron oxides/hydroxides.
The one after that looks like a sandstone and in the first pic looks like it may have a little schist in it.
Third from last is bull quartz stained mailnly with iron.
The two copper ores at the end look like malachite in dolomite and calcite.

vegasjames thank you! #1 looks like garnet in common opal? #5-10 are the same. Lots of what I think is mica, flakes off very easily. Looks better dry than wet The one that you identified as sandstone has lines of possible mica as well. Very crumbly and fragile. Sparkles like crazy

There is a lot of green opal like that up in Northeastern Nevada. Does it feel really waxy? If not it is more likely amazonite. 5 and 10 don't look anything alike. 10 is a copper ore. Schist can be composed with mica. chc.sbg.ac.at/sri/thesaurus/node.php?id=37

It is waxy. It's very heavy.
He said she found all of these in Fresno County.
5-10 are all same rock. That's the bottom of it He has 3 more chunks of it, I left there.

James, sorry 5-9 are the same. I cant count Those do look like mica. First looked fibrous, but your other photos you can see the flat plates more clearly.

Went to visit my friends today and he says look what I dug up out of the yard. Take what you want His great aunt was into rocks and apparently she buried some. Not even joking. Congratulations - nice haul Regarding the buried rocks I believe it because I have little stashes of nice rocks buried all around our back yard and I'm not even joking either. My reason is probably different though - our big shepherds each went through a major digging phase till we got them to stop - and the quickest way to get them to leave a favorite spot alone is to fill the the hole with rocks then toss the dirt back in Someone someday could very well get a major surprise if they go to dig a pool or a pond or other such renovation haha.

That's funny! Good way to get the dogs to stop though. He was digging a path for a walk way and found these and more. I only took ones that really stood out to me. You should of seen the others I left. I probably missed a few.
