When I hound Baculites in Montana, I also pick them all up..... Just never know when an idea might come to and try an experiment..Hahahaha PS: They are my favorite fossil to hound..

Hey Fossilman,
Don't know if anyone has commented yet but your calcite clam is from Rucks Pit in Fort Drum, Florida. I wish that you would google images for "calcite clam", and get a much better idea of what many of them are about.
I have clams that museums want but they won't get them any time soon.
