The rough for this came from a barrel of all kinds of different rocks for a buck a pound. I think I got my money's worth on this one! Any idea where it's from? It's spectacular!

Looks like what people say is from West Texas- a particular ranch, but I forget which. Sabre52? Very nice! Will make some sweet cabs.

The red makes me think Walker or Woodward Ranch, but the outside skin is not right for that as agates from there are usually a brownish exterior color.

Sure look southwest texas - if not Walker/Woodard ranch. SOme of the plume looks like Marfa, but the grey background is darker than usual.

My vote would be Woodward Ranch.

Sabre52 should have a location. This piece does not appear to be from a biscuit but from a seam because the exterior is not correct. I would guess Woodward or Walker.
