This is very long, but appreciate the expertise of anyone who has time to read.
Started these on 7/1. They had already been through a rough tumble, so added them to some cabs.

On 7/7, moved to pre-polish. Everything was looking good.
Here is a photo of everything after the medium polish:
all 7-12
Everything was beginning to get some gloss by 7/12, so moved all to polish. Just posting the Tears.
tears 1 7-20
tears 2 7-20
This photo was taken almost dry.
tears 3 7-20
tears 1 7-12
Checked a week later and all appeared to have less gloss than when they went into polish. I did a soap cleaning and separated the cabs from the Tears. Did a full clean out/4 hour soap cleaning and added new polish to the cabs and a soap cleaning first, then sugar saturation/polish mixture to the Tears. Found the sugar recommendation on RTH and elsewhere for Tears.
Checked again on 7/29 and the tears had worn down a lot, but were still dull. Another clean out/doap cleaning. Put them into a 1 lb barrel and added some microfiber cloth squares in addition to just polish.
No sugar this time.
Checked the tears today and they are still very dull. The slurry was no longer white, but gray. Did a clean out and 5 hour soap cleaning. Below are some photos of wet and dry examples of everything that was in the barrel. Photos before the soap cleaning.

More new polish. So far I have used about 8 TBS of polish on these. I had to remove 3 of the Tears and will be hand polishing them, as I have an order deadline.
Now there are the Tears, cloth squares, pearler beads that had already been through polish stage, tile spacers, pea gravel that had already been through polish stage , 2 TBS polish and 5 TBS soap in the barrel.
Have not checked the cabs for a couple days. I hope they gain their gloss back as they were looking very good before putting in the polish.
Any ideas? Thank you.
