The Tahoma is least likely to fall apart, but Tahoma is always interesting to cab. The bruneau has very different sides, so I know it will change and is too uneven to make a flat top. The Morgan Hill is old stock that I put superglue all over the slab. Best case, some issues will go away and hopefully new issues won't show up. The Montana is most likely to self destruct. No guts, no glory. The best thing about cutting free forms is that I can adjust on the fly (except the Montana).

I sometimes stabilizes Montana's before working them... It helps on most, but the heat really kicks their butt... Good luck..

Bruneau is my favorite rock to hate, so hard to safely cut in a slab saw, full of surprise ash pockets, but beautiful when you get a good one.

Bruneau is a blade killer. I bought a bunch of dud nodules on auction and it takes a lot out of a blade just to see what's inside. I'm going to dome the bruneau preform to see what shows up and then frame it. Redoming to the new shape will be minor.

Ready to dop and I've dealt with the issues I can anticipate. 4 for 4 completions would be optimistic. The bruneau has a scuzzy area on the other side of the c curve and hopefully it will stay hidden. I saw a fracture on the top of the Tahoma and changed the shape to remove it. The MH is shaky and the Montana has a layer that will grind away without taking solid material with it.

I missed a band of agate near the tip. I'm going to grind it and if it fractures, adjust the desing.

It didn't fall apart through 220 soft, but 3 fractures showed up. I'll try taking it down a little. Maybe it is magical.

I took it down a lot and the vug/fracture is bottomless and the cab is the opposite of magical. Next step, filling with superglue. I'm stubborn.

Superglue did it's job on the MH but it fractured where I thought it might. I'm pleased with the Tahoma and the Bruneau.
