Hi everyone. Since i have a thread on Lortone feed tables happening i figured i may as well introduce myself. Name is Chris Cox, 36 yurs in age. I'm near Lake Texoma on the Red River between OK and TX. First generation Texan, haha. Began the flintknapping journey in January of this year and as any reasonable perosn would do, I became interested in the slabbing and rocks in general much more so. Now im here trying to fix my clunker LS-10 slab saw that i hastily bought not knowing anyhitng. Needless to say i couldve bought a new one by now with the repairs done/needed still, but thats all hindsight

Welcome from Michigan. That 10 inch is a good start, used equipment is always a challenge. Then, I look at "new" prices and rebuild my own like you.

Welcome from Michigan. I paid $400 for my older ST-10, and I haven’t regretted it. Those saws are highly rated. Once you get it adjusted, I think you’ll really like it.
