Best average overall shine yet as I'm getting better about what to tumble and what to weed out at my weekly cleanouts. Even the granite came out pretty good (if you can ignore the undercutting) but having said all that I was surprised at the pits, cracks etc I'm missing along the way so more attention needed there. This batch is mostly local finds with a couple reruns (1 agate and 1 petwood). Overall I'm pleased with this batch and can't wait for the next batch in 3 weeks!

Those look good to me. My favorite is up a little from bottom center. A large oval striped rock.

Those look great to me. That brown striped one caught my eye too.

Nice work. As far as missing pits and cracks in your inspections, are you checking the rocks while they are wet or dry? If you are doing them wet, the water on the rock can hide flaws that you might otherwise find when they are dry. I found that made a difference for me.

That explains it....I'm checking when they're wet so that's likely why I've been missing things. Thanks for the tip! I'm learning so many little things can make or break a tumble...it's becoming clear to me once I find the "fine tune" that works I'd best stick to it

Looks like some granite received a polish. That's not easy to do.

Nice Tumble I like the brown striped one but the reddish spotted one just above to the left of brown one looks interesting.

Nice batch, you put a super shine on 'em. Good advice from Dave about inspecting rocks dry at cleanout. I check them while they're wet and set any aside that could possibly move on. Once those are dry, they are checked again before going into the 'move along' tub.

I do the "set aside" thing as well. braat , as Randy made more clear, the inspection(s) to move along are actually a two step process (wet and dry).

Nice batch. You've got a carnellian at about 2 o'clock that is a perfect pendant piece.
Good info on the "move along" tub.
