I'm now a tumbler. I murdered a fairburn at lunch. Can't say I'm proud...yet. Here's a picture of the rock before I cut it and a picture of what I wanted out of it. I'll post pictures of the other cuts separately, they should turn out nice as well. I can't wait to get it tumbling to see how it turns out!

Please keep us posted on progress. A nice capture of the Fairburn features. I will and thank you. I may have to give this one away to someone who makes cabs/jewelry after I tumble it if it does turn out nice. I listened to the rock and that's what it wants.

Now you are hooked for sure Better start saving $ Yes ma'am, you would be correct The coworker that I borrowed the tumbler from is always after me to cut and tumble fairburns but I've resisted until now I figured that this one would be a good one to experiment with I may need to get a third job

I think this one will be much more beautiful cut. A Fairburn in the clouds! Watching with interest 😁

So it got better. I took my contacts out and saw these. The first pic has the fairburn pattern i showed before under my thumb- it has more. The second two pics are two other slabs. If i remember right it's called ghost fairburn. Look at me, I'm excited about rocks 😁

I think it will turn out great! I'm really happy to see you take the plunge. Thanks, we'll see. The two second pieces are getting mailed to a couple of friends to see what they can do with them, the first I'm keeping to work with. As far as taking the plunge, why not? I'm already in waaaaay over my head!

Thank you for listening to the rock. With its guidance, you are sure to transform it to the pre-determined destiny. Now that's heavy. Either I’m getting hard of hearing, or some of my rocks mumble, because I have a hard time hearing what they want. Others are quite clear.

Those fairburns sure have a lot going on in them, wish I didn't live so far away so I could maybe hunt them too, thanks for the show.

I really like the cuts Mike. You have a great Fairburn finding eye. I'm looking forward to seeing them tumbled.
