I may be a little "ANAL" but I try and keep my equipment looking good and well maintained. I am constantly cleaning the red paint off the black rubber rollers on the thumler. I know it doesn't bother the workings of the tumbler but I don't like it. I was thinking about getting a large Inner tube cutting a slice out of it and slipping it over the steel rim of the barrel and glue in place and let it spin rubber on rubber. Not only will it give the Barrel better traction but it will solve the friction of red paint being removed off the thumler B Barrel. Has anyone tried this? I took a picture of the Thumler B and used Microsoft Paint to render how it might look with this modification done. Let me know what you think. Thanks ~Duke

It should be OK. The really anal people are going to tell you adding the rubber will change barrel rotational velocity by the thickness of the rubber times pie are round.

I think I will PU an Inner tube and try it. If anything it will prevent another maintenance task of wiping down 16 rollers a couple times a week because I have 4 tumblers rolling

If you could find the right size inner tube cutting a band might work. Might check at local tire stores to see if they have any throwaways.
