After another RTH member posted their tumbling of what was called Turitella Shells, from the Rock Shed, I was inspired. I was given some similar ones that had been tumbled to remove all of the character. Waited several months for them to be back in stock. Doing this test run on some of the lower quality ones I received. The colors/patterns are amazing. I wanted to keep the character of the shells, so there are some rough areas. Here are quick photos I took during yesterdays check/clean out. They are now in Rapid Polish in my 1 lb rotary barrel. The photos became blurry when I resized them.

Just curios, how big are these shells, being diameter and length and is this the final color? They look like big bugs. How old are they and where do they come from? Also, and I am really sorry to say this, they look like something my little dogie would do. And, OHBTW, have a wonderful day. Cheers, johnw

Sorry, forgot to put a scale item in photo. They are from 1/2" to about 1 1/4" long. Maybe 1/2" wide max. Color will be a little brighter when done.
