So recently the rubbery foam pad that graves made is pretty warn out and i should have replaced it a long time ago for final polish with a compound.. whats the best screw in product you guys found? I know im not going back to graves due to bad service.

Does your shaft have 1/4" female threads in the end like a Genie? If so the Nova ends are good, also I believe Crystallite still makes similar ones too. I don't think Graves as a company even exists anymore.

I use a couple of different pads. My agate/jasper hard stone is a simple canvas with 50,000 diamond paste. I also have some set up with alox and cerium which I can add water to. It is so easy to change, I mostly try to use the one that works best for the material I am working.. Bill
