What's the best & easiest way to polish the backs of finished cabs without re-dopping? I have a 360 flat on my CK6" I have space for another flat if that's the best way? How far down in mesh size should I go?

I just keep going until it looks shinyish. Sometimes that is higher than other times.

I generally don’t do it unless there are saw marks, or the cab is transparent. I mostly use glue-tabs, so a slightly textured surface is best.

Yeah, after trying a few on the wheels I ordered some flats. Probably didn't need to go as far as I did in mesh size though. I have a 360 and bought an 80 to grind down tumbled rocks I want to cab, and a 600 & 1200 full for polishing backs and slabs. My CK lets me use regular laps with a hole on the left, and full face ones on the right.

Yes. Those would be the ones. I get them at a local bead shop, and the last time I bought them they were in the dollar-something range.
Flickr is being slower than molasses at the moment (I am SOOO glad I upgraded to Pro. NOT!). When it starts behaving, I'll post some pics of the tabs on some cabs.
