I challenged myself to create a cab a day starting this week and I liked this one, so thought I'd share. It was sold as picture jasper, but it sure looks like willow creek. Whatever it is, I like it a lot! I need a new pad for polishing, so this is through the 3K wheel. It feels and sounds like porcelain so I was thinking it would have more of a shine after the 3K, so I need to figure that out yet. 2-26-19 by Kevin Dunigan, on Flickr

Very pretty piece Kevin! I would agree with Willow Creek jasper. Love those pastel colors and flow lines.

Very pretty! I would agree with Willow Creek, too. Once you get a full polish on it, it's going to be awesome.

how broken in is the 3000 wheel. I found I had to do over 100 stones to get it adequately broken in to get a good polish. Also the bigger and harder the stones, and the harder I pushed the faster it broke in the wheel.

It does look like Willow Creek. Picture jasper is just a generic term that applies to lots of jaspers. Lynn
