Very nicely done! I really like the contrast between the polished outer edge and satin (?) texture on the backplate of the smaller one. At least that's what it looks like to me.

A friend of mine takes a polished agate and sandblasts the cab. You can use like in this one the lake and have a shiney Lake Superior then use the cut out and have a matt or satin Lake superior then the out side polished. Will get a pic of the reverse.

I wasn't referring to the cab texture — which is great! — but the apparent texture just inside the outer rim of the silver. Is that an illusion or a reflection of the bezel? Just wunderin'.

Thats a triangle wire I wrapped around the bezel and yes it is more satin than shiney on that side of the triangle an unexpected design feature from my hurried polishing.
