If not, then definitely looks like some sort of similar banded rhyolite.

Looks like someone had fun with their Spirograph. Looks reticulated, but I think that is only for silver.

I'm thinking it's like some of the opalized herringbone wood we find in a few locations around the Oregon Idaho border, only it's not from around here obviously.
