I’m waiting to see if they say it is coprolite.

OK, looks like some of the granite, or what I was told was granite, I find. Had to ask.

Wish I could help you out with an ID, but I have no idea. It is amazingly bright, though! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

MsAli your fingers say a lot. I noticed in the middle image your index finger shows a reddish stain that says hematite to me. The 3rd image says agate based in the texture of the surface and the way it cracks. It looks like a little sugary but still should take a great polish. It would be interesting to know where it is from. that might help to nail down a better response but clearly the color is from Hematite Iron staining in the agate base. It should make a pretty cab.

The finger is from dirty oil . It still may be hematite though. That was my initial thought. The 3rd pic is rough before I cut it. I thought it would be really fractured throughout, but what is there is really well healed. I cut another slab last night that Ill put some pictures up of.

Hmmmmm.... I wonder if it is a weird cheetah agate? Maybe one with more red hematite in it? Just thinking out loud.

Might just be a one time find.
I have the cab to finish for the box and then I am gonna work on a piece of this.
Tomorrow a trip to the PO to mail the box out-maybe I will put a preform of this in there ?
