Thatโs a really nice piece with a great pattern I like the chunk verses a slab that one in the back right corner looks like a pretty nice agate too of some kind. They could both fit in my collection just fine I can make a special spot right up front for both of them Thanks for posting them

It is an attractive stone, good news is it's soft, bad news is it's soft. I made a few pendants out of a piece I picked up at the Show in Deming. It would not take a high polish and it makes a mess when grinding. Was able to buff it on the felt to a medium polish. If I can find the pendant stones I will post a couple pictures.

Itโs okay itโs soft because thatโs on his just for show shelf. I needed an out door break last week and him and his wife (Robert and Leslie) invited me out to the country. I got to play around in their rock garden, feed the catfish, cut some slabs, drink a beer and just visit all day.

Is it Norena HELP I think it is a rhyolite/rhyolitic mineral. Soft and near impossible to get an even polish. The black streaks polish better - I think they have iron in them. It is like Indian Blanket and Green Blanket being sold on the market these days.
