I've been watching a few of the threads on the big rocks tumbled by Bob . This isn't up to his standards, but I was pretty happy with it.

I just watched your YT video earlier tonight and now see it again. I just love your tips, rocks in a box, and the detail you put into getting the most from your machines. I am trying to get to your standards, but don't have a way to smooth rocks other than longer in the barrels. Great job.

It's a long process, but I like the results.

That is awesome! Did you record a start weight and a final weight?

As others have stated, love your videos! Thank you so much for doing them as I have let a lot of what you've said/shown sink in. You and the videos have helped tremendously!

Great video and beautiful rock. I echo the others, I always learn some new tips or reinforce some practices that I already know and sometimes tend to ignore. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

That is awesome! Did you record a start weight and a final weight? No, but that would have been a good idea. Why didn't you suggest it before I started?

Sweet! How long did it take? I think it was about six weeks but I did some grinding on it first.

Great job. Love the big tumbles and you did that one proud!
Enjoyed your video envious of how clean your shop is
I need to get one of those grinders. That has to cut weeks off the tumble.

My shop is not quite as neat as it looks. There's a trick to making videos. I take all the crap from one side of the room and move it to the other side, behind the camera. Then I make my video. My wife will tell you that it's all a ruse.

Last week was your coolest rock ever and now you follow that up with your largest rock ever. Next week I fully expect a new largest and coolest rock ever all in the same rock. It gets hard to go up when you get to the top.

Fine unakite Rob. The unakite you sent me is a pleasure to tumble and a beautiful stone. If memory serves the green ones seemed to polish better than the ones with a high percent red(felspar?). Grinds well to, it has a jade like character.
