I have heard with the Covid there are many foreign vendor are not selling in person here. With quarantines and the travel bans what do we think quartzite and Tucson is going
to look like. Should I be a hold out also. I know there are lots of Americans going to be there. (I love to buy American) But love the Australian, Mexican, and south American materials.
Any one else hearing of what is happening with the foreign guys and gals?

Lots of countries have travel bans on now so I know a lot of the overseas vendors will not be making it to Quartzsite or Tucson this year although there are some that will be here. I've heard both Quartzsite and Tucson are going to be scaled back this year and some shows are cancelled but a lot are still going to be open.

I just heard that the Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineral Societies (RMFMS) has announced the new revised schedule for a June 17, 2021 - June 20th show whick will be taking place in Big Piney, WY.
It will be a joint 2021 convention with AFMS & RMFMS.
Big Piney is the oldest settlement in Sublette County in Wyoming, founded in 1879 by ranchers from Nevada hoping to ship out a thousand head of cattle. IHowever, the winter weather did not cooperate and instead spent the winter in the Green River Valley.A year later the family joined the ranchers and the town, who derived its name from the water that flowed through - Big Piney Creek - named after the pine trees that lined the banks. Cattle and oil have traditionally been the two primary industries for the area. More information should be out in the next few weeks.
