We were going to sit down for a movie last weekend and somehow ended up watching all kinds of trailers for B-Movies, actually some may have been C or D movies. We finally settled on "Attack of the Killer Donuts". Yep, some bad acting for sure, but I will say it was generally amusing until the anti-climatic last ten minutes. I fear this may become a semi-regular thing in our household. Please share some of your "Favorites".

Love this thread. In college, I was involved with the University Cinema group. We presented a variety of movies weekly in a large lecture hall. Every other month, we would show a very obscure movie. Sometimes, these were documentaries from small movie studios. Sometimes they were movies that were in theaters, but bombed out. We also presented music videos, before music videos were cool. Think Attack of the Rotten Tomatoes for a movie and Tommy for a music documentary. It is surprising that we survived. No food/beverages were allowed in the lecture hall. We sold tickets for presentations. The goal was always to sell enough tickets to cover our cost for movie rental. We usually had more than enough sales to cover rental/advertising costs. This was used to maintain our professional, theater style projection equipment.
For the well known, "good movies", we would get them about 3-6 months after they were no longer in movie theaters. Fond college memories.

I went to see this at the Biograph Theatre in Chicago way back in the day. I believe it was followed by Hardware Wars.
The Biograph used to play "off" and cult movies on weekend days. Friday and Saturday nights were designated to the Rocky Horror Picture Show every week.

Those are some, uh, great ones. We almost watched this one instead of the donut movie. Kids still want to see it.

Class Of Nukem High. Caught this last summer when I was home sick and it was so bad that it’s good. Couldn’t stop laughing.
