I have had a bit of trouble with disposing slurry and was wondering if I could use the silicon carbide for fertilizer on strawberry and blueberry bushes. Thanks!

It won't break down just laying there , in 50 years it will still be Silicon Carbide ! Dump it in a can and leave it set in a warm place , (hot garage) and when the liquid has evaporated throw it in the garbage can ! If you added any borax your strawberries will go tits up on you ! Borax doesn't play well with green growing things !

I don't use borax when tumbling but I do use Ivory soap between 3-4

I would put it on my lawn but not on my food or garden. It should be basically inert but there are always some stray elements. Even if you the grass for garden compose is is more diluted.
