Extraordinary! I'd love to be in his head for a day. He seems so well adjusted, too.
My BIL has a knack for math and numbers and while he isn't near up to Daniel's ability, it still amazes me. I asked him if he "sees" the numbers. He says he doesn't know how he does it, he just does.

More than interesting this recall one of my favorites "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind" is the 1976 book by the Princeton psychologist, psycho-historian and consciousness theorist Julian James Basically as I understand his theory Our pre historic ancestors heard voices inside their heads. As evidence he offered a interpretation of Homer Iliad Those characters in that book don’t reason. They are directed what to do by --voices. These voices in Homer’s book are usually of divinities. Such as Aphrodite, Apollo ect… This personification into deities may have been a later Homeric invention in writing. Hard to tell. He was writing down an oral account 700 years later. So who knows what his reasons-- might have added? Back to Jayne’s theory. He suggest that the brain’s evolution bifurcated into that left /right solidification…mostly The breakdown part of the bicameral This ceased the hearing of voices.... mostly whadyasay and the reasoning part became more prevalent.. The central scrutinizer, general speaking Who knows what connections & misconception are possible in the brain...?

I don’t try to listen to too many Yet this talk is pertinent to the above & some of the psychoactive substances discussions we had. not sure are brains are any more complex than our prehistoric ancestors but all this screen time is creating new fragmentation who know what dreams may come…. Bonnet syndrome geometric symbols All things to look forward to ha
