I grabbed a pair of these at a sale because they looked unique (and they were the only two). Could barely see a bit of agate on the one I cut. I didn't take pictures of the other, but it's more rounded, with a dimple on top of the layers. Anyway, it was a surprise to find a void inside, as the outer layer lines give no indication of the bulge. Interesting formation, and unique enough that I'm sure someone know exactly where they came from and what they are. Thanks in advance!

That looks like a Dugway Geode from Utah both the inside and outside match. I have about 50 in my colection

Thanks, it certainly looks like that inside, not many pictures of folks' outside. These two just had a distinctive stacked layer outer appearance, must have been well cleaned/scoured by someone. Thanks.

When it comes to geodes the outside is often the best clue to type and location.
