Picked two of these up and for the life of me I cannot remember the name I'm thinking Sonoran Dendritic rhyolite? But it's more of a lavender color

I'm 99% sure I'm wrong but I picked up a piece that was similar and he called it Kona Dolomite

Thanks Tela. I've never heard of that one. I'll do some research.
If it wasn't for the color, I'd be positive that it's sonoran

MsAli I'm not kidding when I say this, but I just left the gem show here in Columbia a couple hours ago. I have a couple friends from GA that set up every year and they showed me two slabs of the same material and asked if I knew what it was. I had no answer for them.

I was just looking for some info on it and it doesn't look like this stuff is really available anymore. Might want to run back to the show and get those slabs

That looks more like a rhyolite than Kona Dolomite

Definitely not Apache Rhyolite. That has dendrites that look like flowers. Very similar to the dendrites in Owyhee Flower Jasper.
I think the Bulico Jasper is spot on.
