I have been using a Lortone 33a and a Chicago Electric with double 3# drums for 5 years. I haven't achieved the shine I wanted on some of my rocks. Decided to try a vibe tumbler. I haven't heard anyone here talk about a Mini Sonic vibe by Diamond Pacific.

I have an old pre Diamond Pacific version. The tubs are heavy and the amplitude can be adjusted. The lid does not fit tight but seems to work. I use for small test batches. I like it fine. got it used in a collection.

I have a mini sonic. Forget the brand. It’s red and white. Vibrating. I don’t put rocks in it, but polish sterling, copper and red brass. Does a good job on jewelry. Doesn’t damage Swarovski beads either.

Haven't tried a mini somic but have an 18 lb. unit, I always run a full load by adding ceramic, it does a great job with each grit size in 24 hours, a smaller unit would bprobably take a bit longer !

I use the Mt-4 from 220 onward. It is super heavy, works great, and is easy to use. Mine is pre diamond pacific (custom technologies industries.) I'll post a picture of a batch done by it in a second.

I like the adjustable speed for softer materials in the polish stages, but will take a few more days to finish compared to the hoss of a Lot-O
