Pulled these out a few days ago, mixed batch of small slabs and pendant stones. Several of these were in a tray of preforms I found cleaning out my late friends Shop. Some are unknown to me. Texas Moss IMG_3879 by Findrocks, on Flickr Unknown, area of Moss with area of odd shaped orbs. As it turns out I just found a 10-11 pound piece of this that had already cut, glued it to wood today for slabbing. I have never seen any Palm like this, I cut 6 or 7 small slabs out of the small piece I had. IMG_3896 by Findrocks, on Flickr

Beauties, Henry! I love that Palm Wood. I have seen a lot of Palm Wood, but nothing like this piece. Wish I had more. Identifying and knowing where something came from can be an issue when buying old collections. Memories fade and in the case of the estate I am buying from, he also bought from estates 20 years ago pushing ID and location into the unknown.

Very nice leopard skin. I've never been able to find any material with such consistent hardness and that takes such a good shine. That one really stands out to me, as well as the "Hubble Deep Space Picture Palm." Great name for a very cool rock.

Nice looking group! That leopardskin is striking with that orange-red strip going through it. That palm is also quite lovely!
