Survived the weekend, it was an endurance contest. The doors opened at 10:00 Sat and by 10:30 the venue was packed. Did not leave booth until 3:30 for a bathroom run. Sales were brisk all day long with several repeat customers form last year. Had several buyers ask "do you have any more of this, we will be back on Sun". Back home at 8:00 that evening, supper and then out to the garage for over an hour finding the requested material and filling 4 empty show boxes. Up at 5:00am and back at venue by 8:00 to price new stuff and straighten up show tables. Crowd on Sun was as expected a bit more subdued with sales at a more relaxed pace. Still managed to do about 65% of Sat sales. Shut down at 5:00 packup and load up and home by 8:00. That one beer tasted wonderful!!!
Ark Quartz was the big seller as expected. Pet. Wood was the surprise good seller, sold all 4 pieces of the big wood slab I posted a 2 or 3 months ago. Several Vendors bought tumbles from me and asked where i buy my tumbles. Told them I was a graduate of the RTH College and that the professors there are top notch!!
Total sales for the weekend were 37% higher than the same show Aug 2021. Note that the Aug show was my best show to date and more than doubled any previous effort. Oh and I only had 3 tables this weekend as opposed to 4 tables for the Aug show!!
One thing for sure I could not do this for a living operating in my current mode of selling only what I make. Would have to move to buying stock wholesale and re-selling. That is not where I want to be, the fun would be gone and it would be "work". I have 6 empty show boxes and several half empty or less, going to take me a couple days to re-stock. The previously messy garage is now worse and will spend a portion of the week bring some semblance of order.
Despite the busy days I enjoyed the heck out of the Show and talking to all the people especially the re-peat folks.

It is a lot of work and it's awesome you actually had stock at home to refill for Sunday. When you're done with your restocking and organizing today, have another beer to celebrate.

One good thing about getting older, one beer maybe two under the right conditions is more than enough for me!! And that's only 2 maybe 3 days a week!!! I am a cheap date!!!
