I tried looking through past threads for solutions, but I don't know how to describe this behavior, let alone how to fix it. We've been rolling along at stage 2 for a little over a week with no trouble, then I moved my tumbler over and now the drum's just bopping around all over the place!
My first thought is that the idler shaft (the one that the motor doesn't turn) isn't oiled properly. I hit my bearings with three in one oil to keep them spinning. I had a new tumbler pull the same thing on me and when oiled, it quit doing that.
Check to be sure it’s somewhat level and that the rubber feet are where they are supposed to be. The frames on the 3 pounders agent twisted pretty easily.

Okay! I moved it to a flatter, harder surface to make sure the frame wasn't warped, and lubed up both rollers. I'm covered in graphite powder, and it's running much faster and smoother now (yay!) but the drum is still kicking around. It almost seems like it's getting snagged on the sides or something; do they swell up? Like from the room being too warm? The bottom half inch or so of the drum is looking scuffed up now.
