Thank you everyone for your kind comments. These cabs have healed fractures but the material has a few cracks similar to Morgan hill poppy jasper.

Nice cabs David. I have sold over 1500 cabs on Etsy and all of them had the bezel edges cut with a 2-3mm flat edge, slightly angled inward. I don't know exactly what the buyers are going to do with my stones so I polish the back and edges the same as the front. This way it can be wire wrapped, hole drilled, glue on bail or whatever they want it's ready to go.
Hope this helps, Geoff

Congratulations! Those blades are quite good. Nice material. It almost looks like there is a wood grain pattern in those slabs. Any chance it is pet. wood?

I got my box today and it's awesome. This material is very nice poppy jasper and will work up beautifully. A big thank you to Joshua for making this material available. Geoff

You only need a bezel edge with roughly 2 degree inward slant so cut the edges so they slant inwards. The grip is based on this imperceptible slant towards the middle of the stone that holds it in place. If the bezel wire goes like half way up it will be fine. Size it to the base dimensions and it will "bend" and grip the stone when you burnish it. Hope this helps. Geoff

After nearly 50 years of marriage, a couple was lying in bed one evening, when the wife felt her husband, begin to massage her in ways he hadn't in quite some time.
It almost tickled as his fingers started at her neck, and then began moving down past the small of her back. He then caressed her shoulders and neck, slowly worked his hand down, stopping just over her stomach.
He then proceeded to place his hand on her left inner arm, working down her side, passing gently over her buttock and down her leg to her calf.
Then, he proceeded up her thigh, stopping just at the uppermost portion of her leg. He continued in the same manner on her right side, then suddenly stopped, rolled over and became silent.
As she had become quite aroused by this caressing, she asked in a loving voice, 'Honey, that was wonderful. Why did you stop?'
To which he responded: "I found the remote".

The people I bought my 18" slab saw used to put paper egg crates on the bottom of the saw. They claimed that helped catch lots of the clay sediment. Geoff

I have had an Etsy shop for five years, selling cabs for the last three. For sure I don't sell as many as I did three years ago. My shop is here- www.etsy.com/shop/GeoffreysCabochons

Did you lick any of the rocks you have cut? I taste metal sometimes after licking a few slabs.

Thanks everybody for your comments. It is expensive rough but worth it. I sold three cabs yesterday and those just about paid for the parcel.
